We check and restore our analog cameras in our workshops in Lyon since 2012.
This model is a nice Olympus OM2n. It was a revolution in the analog world: it was produced at the time of the Nikon F2 and Canon F-1 and this Olympus brings two major changes. First: the size, it is so small compared to the cameras produced at the time. Second the light cell, it calculates the amount of light not before the shutter time but during it. This technology makes the photography with flash much easier and will be reproduced by all the manufacturers afterward.
This reflex has nice features: manual speed from 1/1000s to 1 sec, B pose, over and under exposure button, self timer, flash coupling...
This camera has been fully checked and is ready to work. Everything is working: shutter, shutter speeds, mirror, light meter, self timer, auto mode, flash coupling... Please note: A few traces in the viewfinder. Tiny scratches on the mirror.
It is sold with two new LR44 batteries.
This model is sold with its lens:
F-Zuiko 50mm 1: 1.8. Please note: low internal dusts veil.
All our cameras are antiques and may wear signs of use. The pictures will give you a better glimpse of the condition.
