The D-76 is an universal powder developper for black and white films, a classic from Kodak. Nearly the same as the famous Ilford ID-11. Adox took the classic formula of this developper and brought it to nowadays standards and norms.

Adox worked on the storage capacity and improved the technology to prevent inhalation of chemical dusts while mixing. It needs lower temperatures thant usual to disolve.

For a global use, it's often associated to the Kodak Tri-X as it offers great results but still very efficient with most of the black and white film on the market. 

The D-76 has a high latitude which allows to take advantage of the film sensitivity and deep work on the grey. The grain is fine and the shadows are detailed.

This developper can be normaly and push processed.
