We check and restore our analog cameras in our workshops in Lyon since 2012.
This model is a nice Canon P, a mechanical rangefinder with M39 LTM mount. The "P" stands for "Popular" as the camera was less expensive that most known rangefinders like Leicas but with a similar mount and great optical quality.
This camera has mechanic speeds from 1s to 1/1000s a B and a synchro flash X.
This camera has been fully checked and is ready to work: shutter, speeds, rangefinder, winding, rewinding, lightmeter,... Please note: Curtain slightly wrinkled, famous issue on this camera (no effect on the speed/exposure). The light meter is correct overall but tends to propose an underexposure setting.
The lens is a Canon Lens 50mm 1: 1.8. Please note: Light internal haze (doesn't affect the picture), the original Canon cap is sold with the camera.
All our cameras are antiques and may wear signs of use. The pictures will give you a better glimpse of the condition.
