This model is a nice Pentax ME Super. It is a multimode analog 35mm reflex camera.
It has four modes: one auto-mode (which chooses the speeds up to 1/2000s by calculating the light through the diaphragm you want), manuel speed mode to set your speed by yourself, a 125X: flash synchro and B mode for long time poses.
The shutter speeds chosen by the camera are displayed by a color: green from 1/2000s to 1/60s, yellow from 1/30s to 4s, red for underexposure and manual mode.
This camera has been fully checked and is ready to work. Everything is working: shutter, shutter speeds, mirror, light meter, auto mode, self-timer...
It is sold with two new batteries.
This model is sold with its lens:
SMC Pentax 28mm 1:3.5 The lens is clean, without scratches or fungus.
All our cameras are antiques and may wear signs of use. The pictures will give you a better glimpse of the condition.

The Black and White Day is a Photography workshop to experience the traditionnal analog Photography.
Through this workshop you will discover how to shoot film, developp it and print it in the darkroom.
This workshop is composed of a party of 3 to 5 participants led by a Professor who will help student from a beginner to a medium level to improve their skills in the different fields seen through the day.
This session is dedicated to the 35mm format, we recomend using a mechanical reflex film camera (Nikkormat, Canon FTB, Minolta SRT, Pentax K1000...) if you don't own a film camera or your camera doesn't suit our recommendations we can lend you a film camera for the day (free of charge). All the supplies needed for the day are included in the price: a black and white film Ilford HP5 35mm 24 exposures, the storage sheet, film chemistries, photo papers RC and paper chemistries.
The day is split in three parts:
- Start at 9h00: The participants and the Professort meet at our café "La limonade de Marinette" 46, rue Saint Georges 69005, the workshop starts with the introduction of the day and the checking and explanation of the equipment needed and used during the day.
The group will then leave to start shooting their film (inside, outside, portrait, architecture, street, landscapes...) this part of the day is meant to discover the practice and theory of shooting film.
- 11h00: The group arrives at our Shop Laboratory at the 13, rue de la Bombarde 69005 to end the shooting part and initiate the developpment part of the day of the films shot during the morning. The Professor handles the developpment of the participants' films in front of the students by showing them the use and theory of this step. During developpment students will be given blank film to practice film spooling, the usage of a developping tank and use of the chemistry. The developpment part of the day will end with the films being dried and stored for a moment, this will give the participants a break to lunch. (Lunch isn't included in the price).
- 14h00: After the lunch break the films are dried and ready to handle, the day will follow with the discovery of the darkroom. The Professor produces in front of the students a traditionnal contact sheet for each participant. This will show you for the first time your pictures shot during the morning. You will then choose one picture and experiment enlarging it on RC paper (format 18*24cm). You will discover the magic of the darkroom with your own image appearing in front of your eyes.
The day will end around 18h00, you will have discovered the three steps of the analog photograpy: shoot, developp and print!

The Black and White film development workshop is a Photography workshop to discover one of the process of the traditional analog Photography.
Through this workshop you will discover how to develop a black and white 35mm film (if you wish to develop a 120 film you just need to let us know prior the event).
This workshop is composed of a party of 3 to 5 participants led by a Professor who will help student from a beginner to a medium level to improve their developing skills.
- Start at 9AM: The group arrives at our Shop Laboratory at the 13, rue de la Bombarde 69005 to meet and start the workshop. The session begins with a summary of the development theories, the method used and the knowledge on how to choose your developer, what time use, etc. The group discovers the different equipments and accessories needed for the development: chemistries, spools, tanks, dryer, thermometer... Once the theory understood the group starts the practice with fake training film to practice loading the spool and handling the Paterson developing tank. Each student has his own Paterson tank in order to give him the same feeling he will then reproduce back at home. The real development can be done and once over the films are stored in the film dryer. Once dried they can be checked and the students can understand what happened during the development.
The workshop ends around 1PM, each student should now be able to handle a black and white development by its own. We'll supply the archival sheet to bring back your film. All the supplies, accessories, equipments are supplied you just need to come with you own personal 35mm black and white traditional film 24/36exp (Ilford, Kodak, Foma, Rollei) already shot / exposed and ready to be developed. Please note that you need to be sure about the film you bring as a film badly shot, poorly exposed or missed will end up with a failed development.
