We check and restore our analog cameras in our workshops in Lyon since 2012.
This model is a Ricoh YF-20. It is a small compact camera for 35mm film with a unique 1/125 speed with fixed focus. There's no DX codage so you can set ISO manually on the camera (It also sets the aperture). Please note: some dusts in the viewfinder. the body shows some signs of age.
The lens is a Rikenon 35mm 1: 4. No scratches or fungus.
This camera is sold with 2 AA batteries.
All our cameras are antiques and may wear signs of use. The pictures will give you a better glimpse of the condition.

This workshop is composed of a party of 3 to 5 participants led by a Professor who will help student from a beginner to a medium level to improve their printing skills in the darkroom.
This session is dedicated to the 35mm format. All the supplies needed for the day are included in the price: photo papers RC, paper chemistries and all the equipments and accessories needed.
You need to come with your own personal 35mm black and white film already developed, it needs to be well exposed and well developed.
- 14h00: The day will start with the discovery of the laboratory and the darkroom. The Professor will introduce the making of a traditionnal contact sheet, so each student can perform it by its own. This contact sheet will show you for the first time your pictures from the film you brought. You will then choose one picture and experiment enlarging it on RC paper (format 18*24cm). You will discover the magic of the darkroom with your own image appearing in front of your eyes.
The day will end around 18h00, you should have discovered by now the magic of printing in the darkroom.
The price is per person, VAT included. If you want to come on a workshop with someone else you can book on the same order 2 places and communicate the names of the participants.
