Canon A-1 Camera Body Boxed 1980

We revise and restore all our old film cameras in our workshops in Lyon.

This model is a Canon A-1. This is a rare model still in its original box for the 1980 Olympic Games. It must have been used for only 1 or 2 films as it shows almost no signs of wear. Very rare in this condition. The camera body is sold with its original box and body cap. It is sold without a lens.

This camera is an SLR with an integrated light meter, which reads in the viewfinder. It has all the features of the Canon AE-1, but with the addition of Program mode. This multi-mode camera features a Program mode with selected aperture and shutter speed, aperture-priority mode, shutter-priority mode, manual mode, flash coupling... All you have to do is focus, the camera takes care of the rest!

It has a Bulb setting (for long exposures), shutter speeds from 30s to 1/1000s, a self-timer, an overexposure button...

This camera is a great classic in the film world.

A battery is supplied with the camera body.

This camera body is sold without a lens.
