Canon A-1 Camera Body Boxed 1984

We service and restore all our old film cameras in our workshops in Lyon.

This model is a Canon A-1. This is a rare model still in its original box for the 1984 Olympic Games. It must have been used for only 1 or 2 rolls of film as it shows almost no signs of wear. Very rare in this condition. The camera body is sold with its original box and body cap. It is sold without a lens.

This camera is an SLR with a built-in light meter whose reading is done in the viewfinder. It has all the characteristics of the Canon AE-1 but with the addition of the Program mode. This multi-mode camera features a Program mode with chosen aperture and shutter speed, aperture priority mode, shutter priority mode, manual mode, flash coupling... All you have to do is focus, and the camera takes care of the rest!

It has a Bulb setting (for long exposures), shutter speeds from 30s to 1/1000s, a self-timer, an overexposure button...

This camera is a great classic in the film photography world.

A battery is supplied with the camera body.

This camera body is sold without a lens.
