Description
We review and restore all our old silver camera bodies in our workshops in Lyon.
This model is a Canon AV-1. This camera is an automatic SLR with aperture priority. Shutter speeds from 1/1000s to 2s are determined by the light meter and are visible in the viewfinder.
It has a B-setting (for long exposures), flash synchronization at 1/60th, and a self-timer. Please note: this model has a soft-release socket on the shutter button, but unfortunately, it does not work on this particular unit. The focusing screen has scratches that are visible when looking through the viewfinder but do not appear in photos.
This camera is very small and light for an SLR.
Fully overhauled: shutter speeds, self-timer, winding mechanism, mirror, shutter release, light meter, automatic mode...
A battery is supplied with the camera body.
