Canon FTb QL & FD 50mm 1.8
Description
We review and restore all our old film camera bodies in our workshops in Lyon.
This model is a Canon FTb QL. This camera is an SLR with a built-in light meter, which reads in the viewfinder.
It has a Bulb setting (for long exposures), shutter speeds from 1s to 1/1000s, a flash sync speed of 1/60th, and a self-timer. Please note: The light meter is 2 stops more sensitive. We recommend using a handheld light meter. A mark on the base. Use flash only with the hot shoe.
It features the Quick Loading system, which prevents errors when loading film.
This camera is a classic in the film world, preceding the AE-1 by a few years.
