

Yellow Filter - 49mm to 55mm


Description
The yellow filter is used in black and white film photography to isolate a part of the spectrum and modify your image.
It is recommended for orthochromatic films and can be used with panchromatic films.
This filter lets yellow pass and retains blue, it is recommended for landscape photos with sky or vegetation. It is also suitable for portraits of blond people. It darkens blue skies and their shadows.
You can find out the filter holder size of your lens by measuring the internal thread, it does not correspond at all to the focal length: for example, a 50mm 1.8 lens can have a 49, 52 or 55mm thread...
