Details

Marinette now offers her own "Marinette Film" brand films. These are either expired films purchased in bulk 35mm rolls and re-spooled, or new and special films re-spooled to allow you to shoot different films from what we already offer in new film.

"Marinette Classic Film" films are made from new film stock produced today. We test them and advise you on their use in store or via our eShop.

The Marinette M102 film is a "Tasma Aerial Type 42L" base produced by an Eastern European manufacturer. This film is used for aerial surveillance; its high speed combined with good acutance make it a very interesting high-speed film.

Its nominal sensitivity given by the manufacturer is 1300 ISO, but its wide latitude allows for very broad use. It can be easily exposed at 400, 800, and 1600 ISO. The photo examples are exposed at 1600 ISO.

You will find example photos of the film taken by us. Some examples were developed using classic Black and White lab development (to show you what effects you could get if you don't develop it yourself) and others with Stand Dev Adonal 1+100 - 1h00 - 20°C - 1 agitation, or Kodak D76 1+1 - 16 min - 20°C. You can find different times according to your chosen chemicals and ISO on Massive Dev Chart.

The film base is extremely thin, so we advise you to thoroughly dry your coils before spooling and to arm yourself with a little patience.

This 36-exposure film is re-spooled into recycled 35mm cartridges, so it does not have DX coding (Attention to users of compact or more modern SLRs).
