Details

Marinette is offering you a new range of her own films, the "Marinette Spéciale". These are old expired films on 30m or 100m spools wound into cartridges.

"Marinette Spéciale" films are made from sourced base material, and stock is limited to a few dozen or hundred rolls. We test them and advise you on their use in store, via our eShop, and also with instructions included with the film.

Marinette Spéciale N°2 film is an Ilford Pan F 50 base that expired in 2005.

You will find example photos of the film taken by us. The film was first checked by performing 'bracketing' to determine the best sensitivity to apply to the film, as well as to provide some details on development:

- we recommend exposing the film normally at 50 ISO, the film has been well preserved (you can optionally add an exposure index (exposure at 25 ISO) to get a little more contrast and detail in the shadows);

- we developed the film with Adox Adonal at 1+25 for 7 minutes at 20°C.

This 36-exposure film is re-spooled into recycled 35mm cartridges, so it does not have DX coding (beware compact or more modern SLR users).

This stock is old and therefore limited.
