Description
We service and restore all our old film camera bodies in our workshops in Lyon.
This model is an Olympus Pen F. This very compact camera is a half-frame SLR, it uses 35mm film but exposes 18x24mm negatives, which doubles the number of exposures on a negative (72 for 36 exposures and 48 for 24 exposures). Being an SLR, it focuses and shoots through its lens, which is interchangeable and was manufactured by Zuiko, Olympus' optician renowned for its excellent optics.
Entirely mechanical, it has speeds from 1s to 1/500s and bulb mode. It does not have a light meter. Its winding is manual and done in two steps.
Completely serviced: speeds, winding, rewinding, shutter, ... Please note: the body has some scratches and dents, especially near the "F". The viewfinder is slightly dusty.
This camera body is sold with the following lens:
F. Zuiko 38mm 1: 1.8. Please note: Slight internal dust, micro scratches and light fungus on the rear element. It is sold with its original filter and cap. The filter and cap have an indentation on one side.
