Pentax MX & 50mm 1.4
Description
We service and restore all our old film cameras in our workshops in Lyon.
This model is a Pentax MX. It is one of the first generation Pentax K-mount cameras.
It has a B setting (for long exposures), speeds from 1s to 1/1000s and flash synchronization at 1/60s, and a self-timer which also allows for depth-of-field testing.
It has a light meter powered by two batteries, which is read on the right side of the viewfinder by a set of very easy-to-understand colored LEDs.
Fully serviced: speeds, winding, mirror, shutter, light meter, self-timer, ... Please note slight loss of metallic coating around the viewfinder (see photos).
Two batteries are supplied with the camera body.
This camera body is sold with its lens:
SMX Pentax 55mm 1:1.4. A rare and bright lens known for its very sharp rendering. No scratches or fungus. Please note a slight internal dust haze.
