Description
We service and restore all our old film cameras in our workshops in Lyon.
This model is a Pentax MX. It is part of the first generation of Pentax cameras with a K-mount.
It features a Bulb mode (for long exposures), shutter speeds ranging from 1s to 1/1000s, and flash sync at 1/60s. It also has a self-timer that can be used for depth-of-field preview.
It has a light meter powered by two batteries, which is read on the right side of the viewfinder via a set of color diodes that are very easy to understand.
Fully serviced: shutter speeds, winding mechanism, mirror, shutter release, light meter, self-timer, ... Please note: This camera body sustained an impact on the top of its prism; it has been reshaped but shows traces in that area, with no impact on the viewfinder.
Two batteries are supplied with the camera body.
